Connecting to a domestic violence program is the single most important factor in reducing intimate partner violence fatalities, injury and re-assaults. While reaching out for help can be difficult and scary, a welcoming environment that provides safety and security can also facilitate healing.
Sadly over the past six years, Women's Center & Shelter has had to turn away thousands of women and their children because all of our beds were full. With your support of the Shelter from the Storm capital campaign, we can change that.
The Need

These courageous individuals have stepped forward to share their experiences as domestic abuse survivors, witnesses and perpetrators. They hope to help break the silence, stigma and stereotypes still surrounding intimate partner violence. (cont.)
The Vision
